Yes, up to about 30 miles

Reason for putting crabs up for adoption:
The aquarium is too big for our little house. We have to keep moving it to clear counters to cook as we keep them in the kitchen, only place where a free counter.
We got these big guys about 3 months ago in a beachfront t-shirt shop, where we went to get some shells. Big ones were laying all over the bottom of their wire enclosure, dead and stinking. We picked out as many of the big ones as we could pry off the sides as they were the ones who seemed to be dying. We bought them to “rescue” them. 6 died within about 2 weeks. The remaining 10 are active, social with each other, seem healthy and eat very well. I do not handle them aside from watering them and removing them to clean tank, so they may not be really tame at this point. But at least they are out of a drafty cage which was exposed to lots of sun and without any place to burrow.
